Tonight after we celebrated Whitney's birthday we headed out for National Night Out.  There are designated houses throughout the neighborhood that provide drinks, snacks and a gathering place to visit with neighbors.  We tooled around the hood for a little bit and enjoyed the sweltering humidity...

James rides his little tricycle like its a chopper.  Here he is displaying a little attitude.  Lets just hope that in 20 years he is not striking this pose in front of an ice house intimidating the locals. Click on the image to watch this guy in action. 

Whitney was all smiles with the new skates.  Right after this photo was taken she quickly introduced her rear end to the concrete.

Whitney quickly realized that she can do much better tricks on her skates when she is standing in the grass.  She also felt a little more daring with a helmet.

We stopped by the Rose's house to show everybody the new skates.  Mr. Bill gave the kids bags of Cheetos to keep them busy while he sprayed the yard for Mosquitoes. 

After a long walk we headed home and went straight to the bath.  It was a fun day for everyone.
