Shooting with Film Ilford HP5 - In Studio

A few days after I shot some film outside at the house I decided to try a little out in the studio.  Having a controlled lighting environment usually ends up with pretty good results.  Unfortunately the technician that was scanning my negatives was busy eating powdered donuts while working.  I can only assume this due to the number of large white specks on the scans.

My lovely subjects were Whitney and her buddy Kara.  Kara and her family had portraits done a week earlier and came by the studio to review their images.  Sometimes this can take a long time so while Denise is busy with the parents I get to entertain the kids.

Kara and Whitney were in the same class at Bethany United Methodist for the last few years.  They are pretty close and recently have split up to go to different schools.  Hopefully we will continue to see Kara and her family.

These girls sometimes can't stop giggling.  Whitney is a real ham and loves to make everyone around her smile.  They were both a little over loaded with candy when we took these pictures.

Have a great year at your new school Kara!  We are going to miss you!
