This is your Virtual Knock on the Door!
Knock, Knock, Knock...
As you are probably aware, Whitney started Kindergarten this year and we are all learning a lot with
this new milestone. Whitney goes to a Fine Arts Magnet School in the Houston Independent School District called Roberts Elementary http://es.houstonisd.org/RobertsES/. In addition to the typical academic subjects, Whitney gets exposure to Dance, Music, Art, Spanish, Computers and much more. Many firsts are ahead of her this year with the most recent being her (our) first school fundraiser. We are writing to you on her behalf to ask for your support.
Note: Instead of subjecting all of you to unwanted e-mails in the future from the vendor, we decided to send this e-mail manually ourselves rather than through the vendor's website. This requires you to add her school "Group Number" when you place your order on-line, so the proceeds go to her school. We truly appreciate any support you can provide. The proceeds are through the Roberts PTO and allow the parents to continue to play such an important role in our children's elementary experience by providing improved materials for the curriculum, computers, and other supplies.
She is currently selling from 2 different programs and you are able to order via the Internet:
1. Sally Foster: This includes wonderful gift wraps, gift ideas, chocolate, gourmet goodies and home decor...50% of every order supports the school. Great teacher and co-worker gift ideas. www.sallyfoster.com Be sure to click the "Give Credit" button at the top of the screen and insert seller number 155559.
2. Entertainment Discount Books: This is a great book of discount coupons at both local and national chain retailers, restaurants, travel, grocers and much more. The best way to use these books is to keep it in the car. You can order the Entertainment Book specific for your City. http://www.entertainment.com/discount/fundraisingLookup.shtml Be sure to input the seller number 155559
We are also busy working on Whitney's selling techniques. She is still going door-to-door but she is learning that the goofy face and the crazy eyes don't sell books. Only the sweet smile gets the job done.

Thank you so much for your support.
