Our next family art Workshop is scheduled for Sunday, October 16th, 2011 and we hope you can join us.  This has been a hugely successful event each time it is offered and there is limited space.  We look forward to seeing you and your family.

Sarah Gish and Danny Clark will help your family “fly” and find what their passions are as they come together for three hours to connect in a unique way.    In an interactive environment, parents will spend time learning from Sarah how to encourage their children to follow their heart.  At the same time but separately, children will be talking about their dreams and interests with Danny.  When the groups are united, the children will be encouraged to speak up about what makes their hearts sing while the adults listen.  Danny will then take portraits of each family, which will be incorporated into a piece of art the family creates together using a full supply of art materials.  Attendees will go home with their special piece of art they created together.  The three hours will be a time of connection, creativity, and fun!  Sarah Gish is an artist, the owner of Gish Creative  www.gishcreative.com, and the publisher of GISH PICKS, an email guide to cultural activities for families, as well as THE SUMMER BOOK:  A GUIDE TO HOUSTON DAY CAMPS FOR KIDS AND TEENS.  She is a well-known family and personal enrichment guide whose work has been acknowledged on tv, internet, print, and radio.

Danny Clark is an artist and the owner of Danny Clark Photography (www.dannyclarkphotography.com).  He is a popular professional photographer whose focus is families and pets.  His studio is a relaxing, kid-friendly, and fun customer-focused environment.

Both Danny and Sarah are parents of wild and crazy kids with whom they love to connect as much as possible!  It is their goal for this workshop to become a special day of connection for families.  If weather permits, the workshop will be held outside.  Workshop for the whole family up to 5 people is $55.  Larger families welcome, please call studio to register and confirm space.

These workshops are presented on a regular basis at Danny Clark Photography, located near The Village at 2427 Bartlett (off Kirby near the Goode Co. armadillo).
