Apparently if I was a bird I would be an American Kestrel
Farrah Braiff and I are on this new adventure of art at Winter Street Studios. We have decided to name this new studio “The Bird Nest”. With our immediate families combined we have the following:
Spouses – 2
Children – 6
Dogs – 3
Cars – 10 (No really)
Cameras – (you really don’t want to know)
I know this is random but I am not too concerned. Anyhow, I was wondering what type of bird would I be if I was a bird. So I did what any technological lemming would do and headed over to Google. I came up on this quiz and decided to take run the numbers. According to the results I am an American Kestrel.
The results of the test were as follows:
You are the American Kestrel! These adorable birds of prey are members of the falcon family. At maturity they are typically four ounces and measure from nine to twelve inches in length. they are the only falcons to have rust colored backs, they are readily identified by the two black stripes down their faces and chestnut colored, black-spotted backs, cool right? Enough about them, though, let’s talk about you. You are probably a very happy go lucky person, but are often underestimated. Due to your pleasant personality, people often find it hard to believe you have a dark side, but there is a dark side underneath your bright exterior. It takes a lot to make you angry, but once that last straw breaks the camel’s back, look out! Like the Kestrel, you are very approachable and probably very cute and bubbly. You’re pleasant to be around and very intelligent. Despite all of your good traits, however, you remain humble most of the time and find it difficult to take compliments. You have a quick wit and a good, imaginative sense of humor. You love children and animals and are an all around good person. You would probably be a good actor because you can change your personality easily and have good characterization. Due to your intelligence, you can pretty much do anything you want to, however, as long as you dedicate yourself to it whole heartedly. You are naturally a happy, caring person and very loyal. Though people feel drawn to you, you aren’t particularly social. It takes a lot for someone who wants to be with you to impress you. Since you are rather blind to compliments and the affections of others, chances are more people like you than you are aware of.
Funny, I only partially agree but at least it was fun. Try it out and see what type of bird you are. Let me know in the comments what type of bird you are.

Ruby Throated Hummingbird:
You are a hyper, eccentric, Ruby-throated Hummingbird. Aren’t they pretty? Did you know hummingbirds are the only birds who can hover in the air in a single spot for long periods of time? Engineers studied them when they made helicopters and hover planes. The Ruby-throated Hummingbird is the only hummingbird to nest East of the Mississippi river in North America. You, like the hummingbird, are a very solitary people watcher. Though you enjoy being around people, you prefer to keep to yourself. This may seem impossible at times because your happy, bouncing-off-the-walls attitude makes others want to be around you and soak up some of your energy. You are easy to please and this allows you to have numerous relationships, sometimes multiple ones at one time (how scandalous). You aren’t excessively trustworthy because you are so easily distracted and you may tell someone’s secret before you remember that you weren’t supposed to. You like sweets, shiny objects, and anything pretty or muscial. You may want to watch out though, because it is easy for others like the Golden Eagle to manipulate you. You are very flamboyant and it shows in your clothes and the way you express yourself. You could do anything you want to if you could just sit still and focus for one minute.

You are the gorgeous but deadly Golden Eagle. Golden Eagles are known for their tempers and power. They are beautiful, but would rip your face off as soon as look at you. They are known for taking on prey that other birds of prey normally don’t bother with such as foxes and small dogs. I personally saw a Golden Eagle attacking a coyote once. You are very loyal and aren’t afraid of anything. You are probably very intimidating yet extremely intelligent. You are terrific at everything you try, but you probably don’t do anything you don’t want to. You are extremely driven and want to be the best at everything. Chances are you are a good fighter which is a good thing since you have to beat off a lot of people who want to go out with you. You never hesitate to express exactly what you’re thinking even if what you’re thinking isn’t particularly pleasant. People either admire you, despise you, or are petrified by the very idea that you may be close by. No matter what they think of you, you know how to use it to your advantage which is a very good quality to have. Surprisingly enough, you don’t need anyone, but when you find that perfect someone you would do anything for them. You are probably rather violent, and know your body very well, but you never get in trouble because you know how to manipulate people so well. Honesty is another one of your good traits; you honest to the point of brutality. As I said before, you are very intelligent and this shows in your sense of humor. You are that one person in the theater who laughs at parts no one else seems to because you understandthe humor on more levels than most people. You also find people’s actions and situations humorous and can laugh at any situation no matter how horrible it may be. If this isn’t anything like you I’m sorry, I was just going on what I’m like since I would be a Golden Eagle *glare* and what a Golden Eagle would be like if it were a person.
