Last week one of our portrait shoots included Mr. Cannon here and his awesome family.

As a parent of three children, I find the time needed to do things for myself come when the kids are not around. This isn’t a problem in my house but does have to be managed as every parent needs a break from being a parent. What I have realized is that as a parent I don’t really take the time to enjoy just being a parent. I get so busy shuffling work, schools, sports, parties and events for our kids that I can hardly ever participate in being a parent.

What is it about a dog that makes you feel better, feel happier, feel loved or even just feel needed? Personally, I think it is all in the eyes. Dogs especially can throw a stare at you that can melt your heart.

Every year we get to work with our clients to create fun and unique holiday and Christmas cards to share with their friends and family. This past season was no different. It’s always a challenge, but we love to be able to top each year’s card with something new and fresh the following year…
